Andrew, Good advice!! I had some problems with getting my money at the end, but it was because the attorney had some questions about the bill. Have you ever had the problem where one attorney has retained you just to keep you from working for the other side. I'm not trying to pat myself on the back. What I'm worried about is that all I will get from this is the retainer of $400, while the attorney just sits on the case till it to late for me to work for the other side and reap some real income for this case. I think your wanting at least half for the retainer is an excellent idea now, one I think I'll adopt right now!!<BG>. The only problem is if you are new and trying to prove your worth.
