Let me be heartless and cynical for a moment. People can beg for money all
sorts of ways. If this guy was wasting his time writing UEdit when he was
broke, without money for rent, and hoping people would send in cash to keep
him afloat, he can't have all his marbles. The guy who wrote the TAG BBS
played this same trick for a while, too, until a few more checks rolled in.
If this guy is so hot on statistics, then he'd know most shareware doesn't
make a dime.
