Agreed! It is a sad commentary for the human race but unfortunately accurate. We westerners have a now longstanding tendency to take the short side view of things. It is in all of our best interests to support 'share-ware' to the best of our abilities. Unfortunately many think that 'it will be ok if 'I' don't make a payment…..the guy will get enough from all the other people…..etc.' The sad thing is that probably the vast majority take that stand. Now there is not any way that I would contribute for every program that I have down-loaded (or purchased from a users group) because the majority of software that I have accumulate is worthless to me. Some because it is of low quality, some because it is incompatable with other software that I insist on having in the machine all the time and most because I was just on the disk and I have never even tried to use it. But the stuff that is really good and even more importantly, the stuff that I use……well the author deserves my support.
