I thought about how that might sound when I wrote it but figgured that no one would think that I meant 'sale' of public domain software! Many users groups charge for disks containing PD/shareware software. Typically $4 to $6 dollars per disk and all that I have seen charge the same fee regardless of what is present on the disk or how much/little software the disk may contain. Personally I think $6/disk is a little much but then I have not tried to maintain a large users group disk library either. I am sure that the 'excess' beyond the actual disk cost probably does not go far toward paying for all of the long/distance down-load time, wear and tear on the machines much less the time spent by the 'librarian.'
