Let's talk about styles. I didn't think it was cool, in a personal or
ethical or business sense, for him to play up his financial hardship to get
more people to pay for UEdit. That's all. I agree, if you like it, send
him money. The death of UEdit does not mean the Death of All Amiga
Shareware. Such statements are needless melodrama. I don't like
statements such as "Stiles Will Be Called Home By God if he doesn't make
this month's rent!" If the personal thoughts and business affairs of
Stiles have no bearing in this situation, why did Stiles bring them up? (I
just got the latest issue of the CAUSER newsletter, called Gadget. In it,
the newsletter editor said God would "call him home" unless they bought him
a laser printer for the next issue.)
