Is UEdit dying???
This message turned up in search, but its forum couldn’t be identified from the original transcript, so it may not be linked into its thread.
I think the first question has an obvious answer in most cases. That
is if you USE the program….pay for it.
I have not personally seen requests for outrageous sums of money. I
personally believe that they would be counterproductive (ie: if some fellow
was using the program and felt that the sum asked for was outrageous then
he would be inclined to not send anything rather than suffer from being
considered cheap by sending in a lesser amount, not to mention the wonder
about the legal implications).
If the program was indeed buggy in some way then I suspect that it would be
easy to send in a lessor amount and include explaination as to why. What
the legal and ethical bases would be though, I have no idea.
