#A baffled amigo

Browsing through catalogs and stores, I'm amazed with the amiga series. I
wish to purchase one, but money IS a object. I don't know if I should buy the
500 and a memory expansion card because I'm not sure if it will still have
enough memory for the more advanced software. Also, can I use a 1701 monitor
or do I have to buy the 1084? Finally, is the memory expansion card
necessary?
