Partly I don't want to put BlitzDisk as shareware or PD because it would
not be fair to ASDG and FACC II sales. I've given away plenty of my work,
and did BlitzDisk with the intention of paying the mortgage. As part of
TxEd Plus, it helps do that. $79.95 may seem a bit steep if the only thing
you want in the TxEd Plus package is BlitzDisk, but I don't think comparing
it with a sports car to get a radio is the right metaphor … maybe more
like paying for a CD] when all you wanted was an LP.
Trying to explain market realities to end users usually comes off sounding
pretty bad, particularly when you don't hide behind an easy (but glossed
over) explanation… …cheath
