Amiga out of Market?
I just finished reading an article in the March issue of Digital Video
by Tom Negrino who is a consultant & developer for Apple and SGI,
co-chair of AFI Apple media lab, and a producer and director. In an
article that appeared on page 88 of the magazine he made these
comments about the Amiga:
"I think that in general, the Amiga is completely out of the market;
they(C=) don't know what they're doing. Let's face it; the world of
desktop video would be completely different if Newtek had picked the
MAC as their platform. As it is, the Newtek people have done an
incredible job working with a platform that hasn't supported them at
all. They have a marvelous product, but the Amiga is very isolated
and there isn't a wide range of software for it."
I thought this assesment was interesting. Thought others might be
interested in commenting on this subject.
