No, you can not use an IBM formatted 3.5" disk in one of the Amiga
drives and have it read via JLINK. JLINK doesn't create IBM compatible
files, what it does is create a single AmigaDOS file, that is structured
internaly as if it were a complete MS-DOS filesystem. There's a big
difference between what is on a JLINKed file and an MS-DOS disk.
As to how to cable an edge connector to the db23 on the back of the
BridgeBoard…both the Amiga 1010 (external 3.5" disk drive) and the Amiga
A1020 (external 5.25" disk drive) can be plugged into the db23 and work just
fine…so I presume the pinout of the db23 is the same as the pinout of the
external drive connector on the A2000. Look on page A-12 of the A2000 manual
for the pinouts.
Compare that with the signals on the edge connector and you should be
able to figure it out.
