Don, This afternoon I found a flyer in my HardFrame/2000 box that pertains to using Mac-style SCSI drives with an Amiga. (I've only had the HardFrame for a few days, so I'll excuse myself for not going over the docs more thoroughly. 8^>) The flyer notes that "many SCSI drives aimed at the Macintosh user have Pin 40 disabled on their internal cabling." Pin 40 carries the SCSI Reset signal, apparently necessary for proper Amiga operation but detrimental to proper Mac HD autobooting. It thus appears that the drives themselves are the same regardless of which machine they're marketed for; only the cabling is different. So as long as I use the SCSI ribbon cable provided with my HardFrame, everything should be cool. -Dave
