#Manx linker hangs
I picked up the books "Amiga Assembly Language Programming" by Jake Commander,
and the Compute! book "Amiga Machine Language Programming Guide" some time ago,
and I *finally* have time to start learning assembly on the Amiga. I typed in
the "HIWORLD.ASM" on page 76 of the Compute! book, and assembled it. When I
tried to link it via "ln hiworld.o -lc", the machine hangs…no guru, no
nothin'… Can someone tell me what I should be doing?? (PS. This is using
Manx 3.6A)
I hope that I can get this to work with the Manx assembler first, because I
don't have another assembler at the moment. Which is the assembler of choice
on the Amiga, and how much does it cost?
Thanks,
Steve
