Some of the best paint systems in the world work on the Truevision
products! What I think your question means is "Why can't I run
Windoze on the Truevision products", since you are referring to
programs that run only in that environment!
Programs like Hi-Res QFX, TIPS, Lumena, RIO, and even programs like
Inscriber run directly on the boards in a manner that has to be seen
to be believed!
The Targa+ series runs Windoze fine, in full color, if that is the
direction you want to go. But if you want to really see something,
call up a 4kx4k image in HiRes QFX on an AT-Vista and watch it fly!
