I think the Matrox MGA will fit the bill soon. The current caveat, of course
(and it's a huuuuuuggggeeee one <g>) is poor 3DS support, but Vibrant claims it
is their highest priority to straighten that out asap. The MGA and MGAII do up
to 1280×1024 at 24bits, and come with feature connectors for interlaced (a la
NTSC) output boards.
