The SVHS output of the CD32 is what you call Y/C. The luminance signal is
seperated fron the Chroma signal. (color and brightness are seperated)
This provides for a higher resolution signal and less dot crawl.
Redmond cable may make a Y/C cable that has the small SVHS DIN plug on one
end and RCA phono jacks (like on the back of the 1084) on the other. This
would enable you get a clearer picture, but sill not as good as RGB. I'll
give Redmond a call and see if they have it.
