Yes, the 2620 is about 8% slower than the Ronin board. However, it is
done _right_, with the 32 bit ram mapped into the 16 meg address space so
that it is possible to DMA into and out of it. It is slower because of the
MMU, most likely, and if you look to the future of the Amiga, I think
you'll see that the MMU will play a large role. 2090A unreliable? Hardly!
Let me know when GVP figures out SCSI and removes the MaxTransfer
limitations.
