#Maxtor 540
Help, I just installed a Maxtor MXT-540A drive in a 4000/40 and I am
having problems. I can copy data to the drive and a LIST or DIR
looks correct, however when I try to use any of the files they are
corupt. Everything went as normal with the install and format. I
have found that if I TURN OFF FastFileSystem then the drive will
work, but is so slow that it is of no value to me (I want to use it
with the Sunrise 516). I thought I heard of a problem like this a
year or so ago, but I don't remember any details. Any help would be
appreciated. Doug
