The IPAS Boutique catalog that I'm currently shipping doesn't mention fire…
the only particle systems on Disk#4 are rain, snow, disintegrate, spurt,
explode and fireworks. The little white card that comes with 3DS does say that
fire is one of the things we're working on, and if you're on my mailing list,
you'll get a notice about our fire particle system in the 2nd half of April.
For now, the best way for you to do fire would be to use the animated
rotoscoped bitmaps on the CD-ROM that comes with r3.
Re your Summa question, which driver are you using… the internal or ADI
driver? If you're using the internal driver (or an older ADI driver), you
should probably switch to Summa's latest ADI driver. One of the tablet experts
here on the forum can probably point you to that.
