The crabs are found in what I call ironstone concretions that weather out of
mudstone and clays along the north coastline of the Olympic Peninsula. From
Sequim (pronounced skwim) west to Neah Bay.
Additional areas are in the Willapa Hills, an area roughly from the Columbia
river north to Aberdeen and as far east as Chehalis.
From Seattle, it's 2-4 hours away.
