An area where you can have some artistic input is in computer games. That is where the future is, if you want to combine the two. And 3DS has a solid hold on the gaming industry in terms of development which looks to continue very strongly into the forseeable future. Whatever you decide, you can't go wrong with 3DS, its heritage is rooted in AutoCAD and was born with that in mind but has expanded out into a world of its own. The ties are still there, but you are not limited by them. John
