David, The most future proof option is a CD-Rom read/writer- expensive, but the media is dirt cheap, and any body can read them, even accross different platforms. Writing is slow but quad speed reading is approx 600kb/s. If you want to get ahead of the game then PCMCIA hard disks capacities just keep on getting bigger (1/2 Gb is now on the horizon). These are fairly quick, and very small. I think this will be the long awaited standard. I have no idea on pricing I'm afraid. Rich
