Hello Frank 8MB Ram may be the minimum needed but I would venture to say that no serious 3ds user would be happy with that ammount. Please note that when your scenes require more than this much ram and page to disk you will slow down considerably and have to exit dos and restart in order to clear the swap file. Nevertheless I think this program is far superior to other 3D apps and worth buying more ram for. Ed
