Not always (but usually) true. When I purchased my P-90 from Gateway about 6
months ago with 32meg of ram, they shipped it with two 16meg simms, not four
8meg. This left me with two free slots and very happy. One of these days I'm
going to fill them, but there always seems to be something else to buy.<G>
