Amiga as a Spooler
This message turned up in search, but its forum couldn’t be identified from the original transcript, so it may not be linked into its thread.
My latest two aquistions are an Oki 292 and a Televideo AT I figured that i
could print from the Televideo by pumping it out of the serial port on the
TeleCat into the serial port on the Amiga and then using RUN COPY SER: to
PAR: print out from the parallel port on the Amiga to the OKI. No such luck.
I can run Online! and have the printer turned on from that and that works OK
but that is not a viable solution. When I copy SER: to PAR: nothing happens
and I have to get out via a three fingered reset. I set preferences in WB 1.2
for RTS and 512 byte buffer and I tried sending EOFs to the Amy from the
TeleCat but no luck. Any suggestions??
