This message turned up in search, but its forum couldn’t be identified from the original transcript, so it may not be linked into its thread.
The manual doesn't have a rev #, it's published by Addison Wesley in 1986. I
don't know if the bits toggle, it looks like there is a memory location for
enables, and a different one for reading, but as usual the manual is as clear
as mud. Anyway, reading either location zaps the Amiga. Fooey.
Even tho I bought a consumer Amiga, it doesn't do half-bright. Maybe older
Amigas are different, and can't do SetRGB4 either (which I can't get to work
in C or assembly). I hope I'm not wasting my time on this thing. Thanx!
