#Action
Michael,
My limited experience with figure substitution worked for me when I did the
following:
1. Have a figure that has the ghosts (a)
2. Have a figure that has the ghosts renamed to the new figures (b)
3. Have each of the new figures (c).
4. Animate the new figures in Action (figures (c)).
5. Animate the parent figure with the ghosts in action (figure (a)).
6. Place the parent figure (b) in direction and load the actions for it and
the substituted figures.
I was never able to load the parent figure (b) in action and reload any
actions that were created with it. Your situation sounded similar to mine so I
hope this helps.
Once I got figure substitution to work, I was blown away with the
possibilities of compound actions that are possible.
This feature needs to be given more weight in the advertising. Also, Hash
should start a "brag" thread and brag about commercials, movies/shorts, etc..
that use their product is/has been used in.
Anyway, I hope this helps,
Jim
