Water Effects
To All:
There was a water Effects post here a bit ago which related results that
did not seem very realistic.
So while I haven't done it in AM I can see from the manual this approach
will work giving great underwater lighting effects.
Start by thinking that the way to make the vained light effects is to
realize these are nothing more than the oppsit of a shadow! and Am does cast
shadows, so make a reversed lattice, place a light above the lattice, place
another light below the lattice, point both at the same point. The lower light
will wash most of the shadows from the upper light out, but if it is not as
bright, the lighter top light will make the very neet lighted vaines associated
with underwater scenes/ by using whit or yellow top light and a blue to green
lower light and morphing and putting waves into the lattice you will get very
photoreal lighting effects. Any object that passes through this lighing set up
will look like it is underwater. Add to this some glass bubbles, and some haze
or fog effects is all that is left.
Hope this was of some help.
