I use Professional Page a LOT. It needs many improvements however. All of
which Gold Disk acknowledge. Text rotation, skewing, shading, better bezier
curve function. Adobe Illustrator is a very different type of program. It
is a professional drawing program. It does NOT handle text well. But
compared to Pro Page it is a much more sophisticated program. It should be.
Adobe had a long head start on the field, having developed PostScript. But
Gold Disk is obviously learning and catching up fast.
Right now I can safely say that with a combination of something like Pro
Page and what Pro Draw promises to be, I will be able to do almost anything
that I can visualize in graphic art production. But that's the fun of the
medium ,your horizons expand as you learn more. I'll bet that shortly after
the program comes out we'll be clamoring for more!
