Chuck,
When I refer to units, I mean whatever the units are that are used in
SCULPTURE and DIRECTION, whatever appears in the X, Y, Z translation windows. 1
grid unit = 1 measurement unit. So if you have Grid Spacing set to 35, there
are 35 units in each grid square.
There are two things to check on the rendering:
1 – make sure that you have depressed the "Photo" button if you are using the
Windows renderer, or added the "-p" switch to the command line if you are using
Render24 in DOS.
2 – Check the angle of the light and target in your scene in DIRECTION;
depending upon the size of the panel, the shadow may be being cast off the
panel.
