Andrew, Thanks for the compliment; those models were a lot of work, although much eaiser than the TIEs. I realize that I am overdoing the backgrounds, but I want to show others that there is more that can be done in a space background than some starfield, a planet or two and a lens flare. I have been working up some different planetary surface materials, and if the models themselves didn't take up all of my memory to render, then I'd be using CorelDraw!'s "satellite photography" fractal fill to create some realistic image maps. I am not so sure that Steve is moving stuff from the Hash Library; the folks that run the graphics forums won't allow me to upload my Star Wars images because of copyright issues; but Compuserve has a very screwed up, totally inconsistent policy, so I am allowed to upload the images in the SF Fantasy Media forum.
