David, I don't have a clue how Depth of Field works. Maybe someone else knows and will elucidate it for us a bit. Nevertheless, your question got me thinking about something even more esoteric. I wonder if you could use Depth of Field to rack the focus on the camera so as to bring the reflections on an object into sharp focus, while the object itself goes out of focus? One of those cinematic cliches, which I probably would never use. But I wonder if anyone has tried it. @-@- > Tim
