If nothing else, leave Z where it is now, I guess. As to objects already in the view — Hmmmm. Especially if the two objects would merge into one. You've got bounding slabs/boxes for the existing objects, tho, so I guess you could arrange to miss them. Heck, nobody said this was going to be simple. 🙂 ..mark
