I haven't seen a relply to my previous post, so I decided to take a gamble & buy Simply 3D today – afterall, for $59 what did I have to lose? I've just begun looking over the documentation & so far it appears it may meet my specific needs – I'm gald to see the AVI support for animations. I was kinda shocked though to see the system requirements: at least a 25M Permanent Swap File, and 8M RAM at a minimum. I have the 8M, but will have to reclaim some disk space for that humongo swap file (sounds like an OS/2 pig). Anyway, I'm gonna give it a shot. I also discovered an ad for the Visual Reality product which appears to be priced more in line with trueSpace. Is Simply 3D just a scaled down ("special edition") of VR? What makes VR better than Simply 3D?
