What is the best approach for making a three-dimensional object in Corel that
will allow me to address the various components of the object for assigning
different materials. Example: I am trying to create a sign made up of brick
columns, arched top and sign area for exporting to Adobe Illustrator format. I
tried creating an object in AutoCAD, brought it into Corel, exported to *.AI
and then loaded it into Simply3D as a 3D object. However, this approach ended
up only rendering the line work that makes up the columns but not the columns
themselves. Any suggestions?
