In this December's "New Media" magazine there's a great How-to using ER to warp between the magazine's two rating icons — a cartoon character giving thumbs up, to same character in 'awesome' pose. There's some great techniques and copious illustrations and explanations. It's a good example of a the kind of thorough explanations that would be nice in the ER manuals.
