Brandon, you want to sound like you read all the thread so far, but from the points you raise it sounds to me that you haven't. Either that, or I haven't made myself clear. Well if that's the case, apologies to everybody, I am an Italian writing from Italy after all, I guess not many of you can sustain a similar conversation in Italian. I am not insulting anyone, actually I felt I was insulted by someone with words like "Mac bubble", "not worth my time", "Surf's up dude" and "May you rest in peace", to mention a few. All I said was that I would not favour a Windows-based Avid and I would not work on one if it ever happened. Someone didn't like what I said. Talk about freedom of speech. The Mac in the studio concept was used to explain that the quoted 'economics101' would mean that THOSE TV stations who do have an Avid system would not need to switch to a Windows one, which is why I reckoned it would not happen. Without insulting, I don't think you've grasped the core of my remarks. Anyway, no one is compelled to reply to messages, so if mine are uninteresting, boring or irrelevant, they can well be left alone. Alberto
