Hi Lee, <<SGI SNOBS>> I should explain …I work in Hollywood. When you apply for a job doing CGI in hollywood, very few people look at you as if you know anything if you tell them you run a PC. The same is true for Mac people in desktop publishing in L.A. I had to buy a Mac because none of the service bureaus in town could accept IBM disks for typesetting until the last few months. I felt isolated running my PC's. It is true that if you don't run an SGI you stand a poor chance of getting hired by any of the big Graphics companies. They want Wavefront, Softimage and Alias people…and if you are older, like me (50), they won't even consider taking the time to train you…Thus I call them SGI snobs. Sanford
