>> As you know we are interested in your product on CD-ROM. We are using LightWave 3D on the AMIGA and soon on the PC. Are your models completely usable in LightWave?<< Michael?… Why are you askin' this stuff in the *Impulse* forum? <grin>. You aren't by any chance one of those closet Imagine users, are you? <Big Grin> Ahaaa!….. that's why you're hangin' out over here. You're busted! <Big Grin Again> But seriously folks… until I get my CRESTLINE section setup, it would help me if you posted your LW questions either in the ANVENA/ NEW ANIM. VENDORS section (my temporary home, where I'm trying to build up a following to impress the CIS staff), or in the AMIGAVENDOR/ NEW TEK section. The latter is, of course, where most of the LW action is, and I think you may be missing out on some of the current LW stuff if you don't cruise on over there once in awhile. To answer your question, my models are *completely* usable in LW. In fact, I spent several months doing the port to work out any kinks. Each different format of the models is sold separately. And the one for LW works great. The reason I hang out in the Imagine forums so much is that it's the principal 3D animation program I use in my *own* production work. If you aren't a closet Imagine user yet, you should give it a try, (Don't tell the folks over at New Tek I said that though <g>) and Animation Master as well, for that matter. These are my two personal favs. No offense against LW, mind you. It's a wonderful program as well, it's just not *my* personal cup a' tea. But those Foundation Imaging guys certainly know how to make it sing. – Tim (And please don't take my editorializing too seriously, it's intended all in good fun.)
