Hi Bri,
Chris answered your second question but in his haste forgot your
first. You get back into the sequence editor by selecting FILE/EDIT.
The EDIT menu refers to the standard cut/copy/paste stuff relating
to shapes, the FILE/EDIT command refers to editing the images
comprising the effect in the sequence editor.
