Jon don't hesitate on a kill…go for it, put my little counter-theory out of its thrashing existance.<g> Were is the proof? really..I have not seen that the accuracy is to within the inches you need to do this. I have worked on positioning using FM & infrared. So I know a bit about what it takes. To do this from orbit 23,200 miles high and resolve this to inches would be quite a feat. And additionally if the points did close a foot over the last decade it could be that the water in the ocean was a degree warmer, or the wind blew a bit more from the east this decade, ect. My point is…..with all the variables that must be taken into consideration, coupled with the distances from which the measurements must be made to determine a few inches are too much for a high degree of certainty. The time period of the experiment is too short for the variables in the system. Kamron
