Being an amateur in these matters, I have no notion myself. Others here are
pros who may come up with an answer, so watch this space.
But notice also the usenet newsgroup sci.geo.hydrology is accessible from
CompuServe (see SCIGEO.TXT in this forum's library for my notes on using
newsgroups from CIS) – with a name like that it has to have people focused on
your specific field.
