OK, you do seem a bit lost. The signal path is from your output of the PAR to the input of the TBC. This will require rewiring it as you now have it for frame grabbing, but this is all external at the back of the computer with video cables. Now take the output from your TBC to your recorder's input. That's the wiring. The "PROCAMP" is short for processor amplifier. This is a devive for adjusting the luminance, setup, chroma saturation and Hue of the video signal. The TBC-IV has this as part of its bag of goodies. Your only problem is how to get at it while operating the PAR software. How I do it: I do it the easy way. I bought a box called the RC-2000 TBC remote control. This eliminates the need to control the TBC-IV via software. I can just operate the PAR from the computer and adjust it's video levels with the RC-2000. For your setup I'm going to suggest a way to do it that should work but I have not tried it here. Let me know how you do. If you haven't already done so, load the TBC-IV software that comes with the TBC-IV. Hook everything up as described in the TBC IV manual for operation of a stand alone TBC IV. Feed the TBC a video signal from your VCR and observe the video on a monitor hooked to the TBC IV output. Now we have the TBC IV working. Next exit out of the TBC IV software and launch the PAR.exe. Load the first frame or some frame of the animation to be corrected so that the PAR displays the video on a monitor. Now exit the PAR.EXE. The frame will stay up on the monitor. Launch the TBC IV software. Hook the TBC IV back into the video line and make your adjustments as desired. Now here's the part I'm not sure about but it should work. Exit the TBC-IV software and the settings should remain. Re-launch the PAR.EXE and play the animation and record. I think the TBC-IV will remnain as to the last settings so you will have your brightness adjusted. Of course the RC-2000 allows you to make these adjustments without going in and out of the two softwares but then it costs $289. <G>
