It really amazes me that you have to hide your addiction to the 3D leading software in the animation industry. Is this some childhood problems you got there (maybe you didn't want to tell your friends that your parents have a Volkswagen instead of a Ferrari? <bg>) Seriously James, I think you have to forget about all that PC apartheid from Mac and SGI people. It doesn't make sense. Don't even discuss about it. Just let it go and left them with their ignorance. If you follow the same methods they use, you are commiting exactly the same errors. I am sure that you don't have a clue about what a Mac can do and what can't do. You said it: "PCs, where my knowledge is located." Me neither. Until I bought a Powermac and then another one. I was used to think that they couldn't do 3D and I was completely wrong. They do it and they do it REALLY well. But at what price? That's the key point. Actually you can whatever you want with any platform out there, from prepress to video to animation to whatever. The questions are: how much? how fast? how easy? And BTW, I have Electric Image users, not kids playing with Macs in a Office Depot, dying for the 3rd Party support, the features and the speed that 3DS provides. In the other side, I also recognize how good EI is, and we are all happy. What a nice story! ana /krazy images
