John: As I said, the triops resemble tadpoles. The information on the
box says that "tadpole shrimp" is their popular name. The largest one
I had, Barbie, looked to be about 3/4 of an inch long. I don't know
if they laid eggs. I don't think raising them as a food source would
be all that efficient compared to everything else out there.
