Hartmut,
Do the following:create the path that the camera needs to go in direction. If
you are done with that save the cho file. Then remove everything excluding the
paths that are supposed to be used. Save this file under a different name and
append the original animation into direction using the "append…" comand under
the "File" menu. You just duplicated the camera path. Now all you need to do is
make one of the paths a target and make sure that the Ease of the camera-path
start a little later than the target-path.
It is a little tricky to actually get the timing yust right, but this trick
worked very good on me a couple of times (make sure, that the camera-path
starts later and ends earlier though, otherwise the target is passed by the
camera and all of a sudden the camera turnes around 180 degrees)
