>>corel to 3DS… Hi Mike, I've exported from Corel (v3-v4) many times into 3DS without problems. Are you using the autotrace in Corel? I've never used it because it never gave clean results without a bunch of manual editing. It was easier to simply load the bitmap and manually trace. BTW, never use DXF from Corel to 3DS – it's a disaster. I use File/Export and pick Adobe Illustrator,.AI,.EPS, then save it as an Adobe Ill. 1.1, text as curves if appropriate. (I think you need to make sure you have no fill and no line thickness – ask Alan I, resident Corel expert, to be sure) In the shaper, I Load or Merge and everything comes in just fine.
