The external fax modems only require machince specific software. The Abaton fax modem for the Mac is the same hardware that runs on the PC and is sold under the parent company's name (Everex). The same darn thing would run on the Ami – I worked on the PC version of the sw, and tried unsuccessfully to inspire an Ami version. But the hw is just serial-linked, and I imagine any pc fax would work on the bridge, since Ron reports his does. – David
