So what do you think would be a reasonable upgrade price for an IPAS? Let's say
it was $200 for the DOS version. How much should you pay to get the WinNT
version?
From the developer's point of view, unless there's some kind of magic
DOS->WinNT compatibility library for the user interface in the yet-unreleased
IPAS dev kit, it's going to mean a fair amount of new development to make the
WinNT version, and since not everyone will upgrade, they'll still have to sell
both DOS and WinNT versions.
And what if you're still free to run the DOS version on one machine, and the
WinNT version on another? Do you need to buy two copies of the IPAS?
