Sherwood, Check out my Follow Letters effect in "3D Studio Special Effects" from New Riders Publishing. It does almost exactly what you are looking for, letters starting behind the camera, flying to a planet, and orbiting a couple of times. I even through in a barrel roll. They key to this effect is to animate one letter and use Copy Tracks and the slide function of Track Info to handle the others. Steven
