They found a service bullentin that looked like it would fix my problem with
the VTR. They performed the update and cleaned the tape path, but that didn't
help. Next they came out to my office with their waveform monitor and vector
scope etc. They think that it has something to do with the erase head timing.
The Targa is definitely OK, that was good news because Truevision wants $250
and 2-3 weeks to recalibrate. Thats where I'm at now, just waiting for them to
give me a call to pick up the VTR.
